elegant Galle Face Hotel established in 1864 and proceeding to a stately
Mansion which was formerly the ancestral home of a leading aristocratic
family in Kandy or a Planters Bungalow in Matale. Continue to another
charming private Bungalow of the Tea Planters during the British Raj set
amidst lush Tea Plantations in the Hill country or the colonial style Ella Motel
situated with a stunning view of the Southern Plains and the Ravana
Ella, waterfall then going down to the 4 roomed Claughton, a quaint little place of
graceful design set amidst 5 acres of landscaped grounds with an elevated spectacular
view of the Indian Ocean, located in the south coast town of Tangalle and finally
ending up at the very private atmosphere of the exclusive Club Villa in Bentota.
Renowned for its elegant architecture, antique furnishings and tasteful interiors

| Meet on arrival at Airport and transfer to Galle
Face Hotel. Afternoon sight seeing tour of Colombo dinner and overnight
accommodation at Galle Face Colombo. |
| | | Day 02 |
| After Breakfast at 07.00hrs leave for
Anuradhapura en route visiting Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, where over 70
Elephants ranging from little babies to adult are cared for. Almost all of
them have been found in the jungles wounded or separated from their herd. The
feeding and bath time in the river are a treat to watch. Late Lunch at the
Tissa Wewa. Afternoon sightseeing tour of
Anuradhapura to visit this great ancient Kingdom of the island where
Sinhala Kings ruled from 380 BC for over a 1000 years. Considered as one of
the finest civilizations in Asia, Buddhism flourished in this magnificent city
in the north central plains of the island. The great kings built huge
religious monuments and monasteries , amazing Palaces, parks, beautiful
reservoirs and intricate irrigation systems. Return to
Tissa Wewa Rest House in Anuradhapura for dinner and overnight

| After early Breakfast at 06.30hrs proceed
for a sight seeing tour of Polonnaruwa (10th to 13th Century) Here you will see
both Buddhist and Hindu Temples located close to one another indicating the harmony
that existed between the both Sinhalese and South Indian Tamil kings who have
had lived in this city. Parakramabahu the great, the Sinhala hero-king ruled this
Kingdom for 30 years. This period was another golden era of the country with great
achievements in huge man made reservoirs and other architectural wonders.
Lunch at Deer Park Hotel. Return to the Mansion, Kandy
via Sigiriya visiting the Sigiriya rock fortress The "Lion Rock"
and climb to the summit of this "Fortress in the Sky". King Kassapa
built this legendary Citadel during his reign 477 - 495 AC. Dinner
and over night accommodation at Mansion Nugawela or the planters bungalow.

| After Breakfast 07.30hrs leave for Ella via
Nuwara Eliya visiting Peradeniya Botanical gardens. Arrive at Nuwara Eliya which
is Situated at an elevation of 1890 Meters. This town was the most popular hill
station of the British during their rule. Lunch at Nuwara Eliya proceed to arrive
in the evening at a Colonial Tea Plantation Bungalow or the Ella Motel. Dinner
and over night accommodation at the Bungalow or the Ella Motel.

| After Breakfast at leisure visit a tea factory.
Walk through tea plantations. Lunch / Dinner and overnight
accommodation at the Bungalow or the Ella Motel. |
| | | Day 06 |
| After Breakfast proceed to Tangalle Claughton
Hotel. This hotel over looking the sea was built by Sri Lanka's famous architect
Geoffrey Bawa. En route visit Uda Walawe wild life national park. This park spreads
over an area of 30,800 hectares. Consisting mainly of grassland this park is famous
for its Herds of Wild Elephant, with an estimated population of over 500 living
within the park. Sambar, Wild Buffalo, Sloth Bear, Crocodile as well as Leopard
are the other larger animals that live here. It is also abundant in its Birdlife and
varieties of
Reptiles. Lunch at Uda Walawe. Proceed to Claughton. Evening at relaxation.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at Claughton.

| After Breakfast at 7.00 leave for Club Villa at Bentota. The
famous architect Mr. Geoffrey Bawa made this special villa which is one of it's
own kind where privacy would be guaranteed. En route visit Galle Dutch Fort the
southern port city. A well known port from ancient times. The famous fort in Galle
originated as a small fort built by the Portuguese in 1589. After the Dutch occupation
it was built to cover an area over 36 hectares. This World Heritage Site is a
very interesting place to visit as history and the modern city blend together
in one area. Lunch at Closenburg. Dinner and overnight
accommodation at Club Villa, Bentota. |
